May 11, 2011 - With FY ‘11 successfully behind us, it’s time to turn our attention to FY 2012. This will be a challenging budget year and Members of Congress need to hear from their constituents that federal funding for domestic and sexual violence programs saves lives in their communities!

February 7, 2011 - Congress has been operating on a short-term Continuing Resolution (CR), which funds all federal programs at last year’s funding levels. The CR will expire in March, so the House of Representatives is now working on proposed funding levels for all programs through the end of this fiscal year. Congress needs to hear that domestic violence and sexual assault programs are important to their constituents!
