Final Week of WomensLaw’s #LatinaGameChangers Campaign

October 13, 2015

From September 15 through October 15, the United States celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month, which recognizes the contributions of Hispanic and Latin American people and celebrates their heritage and culture.

Through WomensLaw, the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) joined this celebration by highlighting the lives and accomplishments of a variety of women of Latin American heritage. All of our daily updates recognizing “Women of Latin American Heritage Who Changed the World” are shared on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest using #LatinaGameChangers. All of our video summaries are included on this YouTube playlist.

This week, we highlight Maria Elena Durazno, Carmen Delgado Votaw, and more.
