Week Two of WomensLaw’s #LatinaGameChangers Campaign
September 22, 2015
From September 15 through October 15, the United States celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month, which recognizes the contributions of Hispanic and Latin American people and celebrates their heritage and culture.
Through WomensLaw, the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) joins this celebration by highlighting the lives and accomplishments of a variety of women of Latin American heritage. You can also follow our daily updates recognizing “Women of Latin American Heritage Who Changed the World” on Facebook or by using #LatinaGameChangers.
This week, we highlight Isabel Allende, Sonia Picado Sotela, Rita Moreno, and more.
