Join the Discussion on Domestic Violence & HIV/AIDS on Twitter

October 21, 2014

Did you know that women are three times more likely to die of AIDS or AIDS-related illnesses than men? Join us today, Tuesday Oct. 21st, at 3:00pm (EST) for a critical conversation about how violence keeps women living with HIV from accessing the services they need to stay healthy and how the domestic violence and HIV/AIDS fields can work together to eliminate this barrier.

Follow the hashtags #PositivelySafe and #DVandHIV on Twitter to participate in our discussion of the intersection of domestic violence and HIV/AIDS. We’ll be tweeting at organizations and care providers from both fields to discuss the issue, and everyone is welcome to participate. Follow and contribute to the discussion to learn how to best serve these communities.
