DVAM 2024: #Every1KnowsSome1

August 29, 2024

Every October, the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) joins with our partners, supporters, and allies across the country to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM).

In partnership with the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV), we have created a unified #Every1KnowsSome1 DVAM messaging campaign and a nationwide cause-based #GiveForDV giving coalition for Giving Tuesday. The goal of these two joint initiatives is to raise awareness, increase donations and volunteer efforts, and deepen community engagement by connecting our work nationwide.

Register your organization online by September 30, 2024, and join us this October!

Social Media Campaign: Check out our toolkit (available in English and Spanish) and engage with us on social media using the hashtag #Every1KnowsSome1 as we share stories, resources, and messages of hope.

Purple Thursday: On Thursday, October 17, wear purple and snap a picture to show your support for domestic violence survivors and your commitment to ending abuse.

GiveForDV: Visit GiveForDV.NNEDV.org/Search to support NNEDV or your local program. You can make a gift now or on the official DVAM Day of Giving on Thursday, October 24. Every gift makes a difference for survivors as they rebuild their lives free from abuse.
