NNEDV’s 7th Annual Economic Justice Summit

The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) hosted our 7th Annual Economic Justice Summit March 5-7, 2024 in Kansas City, Missouri.

As part of our ongoing work to highlight and address the intersection of domestic violence and economic security, this national, three-day Summit will bring together advocates, state and territorial domestic violence coalitions, national experts, researchers, evaluators, and allies to discuss and share strategies to improve economic security for domestic violence survivors.

Summit Theme

This Summit will highlight the importance of economic justice and community empowerment, focusing on practical strategies to make systems work for survivors and the communities in which they live. By emphasizing collaborative efforts and inclusive solutions, the Summit seeks to create a platform for meaningful discussions and actionable initiatives that promote fairness, equality, and sustainability in the domestic violence and economic sphere. Additionally, this Summit will include a research and evaluation track, providing opportunities to join in current or future efforts gathering voicing from the field as well as sharing recent findings.

Registration

2024 Economic Justice Summit registration = $250/attendee. Registration includes complimentary breakfast daily provided by the hotel and lunch provided on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Travel Arrangements

All participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. Please fly in to Kansas City Airport (MCI). If you intend to drive to the event, please keep in mind that you will have parking expenses. Hotel Parking is $5/per night. The hotel is centrally located between the Westport and Country Club Plaza neighborhoods that features several local and chain restaurants, shopping and nightlife.

Lodging

You must make your own hotel reservation(s) by February 18th. A room block and negotiated rate of base rate of $126.00/night has been secured. A hotel registration link will be provided after your registration is complete.
