Every day the Family Violence Prevention Services Act (FVPSA) funds programs across the country to provide victims with essential support and safety to re-build their lives. Unfortunately, Congress has not reauthorized FVPSA since 2010, leaving it more vulnerable to drastic funding cuts. Thankfully, Senators Heller (R-NV), Casey (D-PA), Grassley (R-IA), Coons (D-DE), and Cornyn (R-TX) have introduced S.2784, and Representatives Thompson (R-PA), Blunt Rochester (D-DE), Stefanik (R-NY), and Moore (D-WI) have introduced H.R. 6014, House companion bill, the FVPSA Reauthorization Act.
