“Private Violence” Premieres at Sundance Film Festival

January 23, 2014

January 23, 2014 – Private Violence, a new HBO documentary premiering at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival this week, explores the complexities of domestic violence and the challenges and triumphs in the lives of survivors.

The film follows Kit Gruelle, a domestic violence survivor and advocate, as she provides much-needed information and resources about domestic violence to law enforcement officers, legal professionals, and healthcare providers. Kit also, perhaps most importantly, provides support to other survivors, helping them along as they seek safety and justice.
