Qualifications:
Minimum education requirement of a master’s degree in social work, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in social services or related field. LSW or LCSW strongly preferred. No-cost clinical supervision available on-site if needed for supervision hours. Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish. Strong team building, problem solving, organizational, and oral communication skills are necessary. Demonstrated knowledge of multiple cultures and the cultural impact on the delivery of services a must. Training or experience in working with survivors of trauma, people diagnosed with disabilities, and people diagnosed with mental health disorders preferred. Knowledge of the Cook County court system, Chicago area social service system, and victim’s rights preferred. Completion of 40-Hour Illinois Domestic Violence Training (or a transferable state) preferred, or to be obtained within 6 months of hire date.

This position is onsite, with a flexible schedule based on program coverage needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Provide direct supervision to assigned Navigators.
- Manage the Navigators’ work schedules to ensure consistent coverage for survivors visiting the CAN Hope Center.
- In collaboration with the CAN Hope Program Director, coordinate on-site and off-site CAN Hope Partner schedules to ensure consistent service offerings for survivors.
- Utilize a trauma-informed approach to conflict resolution between survivors, Navigators, and Partners as needed to ensure services remain consistent and survivor-centered.
- Serve as on-site Program Supervisor when Program Director is off-site or out of office.
- Participate either as a volunteer or paid attendee at organization fundraisers.
- Participate in ChicagoCAC sponsored client/staff/community events. It is expected that supervisory staff participate in as many of these events as possible.

- Additional PTO for FMLA-related reasons up to 20 days. 
- A remote work policy that provides flexibility in work hours so long as operational needs are met. 
- Regular expert training on evidence-based therapy modalities, which includes being able to earn Continuing Education Units. 
- The ability to wear jeans and enjoy afternoon milk and cookies every Friday!
