Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree AND two years of professional experience in community, trade or economic development with a focus in management or delivery of services and/or administration of crime victims services/assistance or related field (crime, victim services, mental health services, etc.).
o If the applicant does not have a Bachelor’s Degree, six years of professional experience, or six years total of a combination of higher education and professional experience as described.
o A graduate or advanced degree may substitute for one year of the required experience.
• One-year experience working for or in partnership with organizations based in marginalized communities and Native American tribes.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
• Knowledge of principles of organization and public administration of local, state, or federal programs including policy analysis and formulation of government agencies and development of stakeholder relationships.
• Professional experience working with grants to community-based and criminal justice organizations assisting crime victims, experience in contracting public funds to community agencies, and experience working for or in partnership with organizations based in marginalized communities and/or Native American tribes.
• Knowledge of principles, practices and techniques of state and federal social services programs including their application and intent, sources of funds and requirements controlling their use, and legislation.
• Knowledge of state budgeting policies and practices, and ability to employ budget and fiscal management techniques.
• Ability to analyze complex documents.

Description:
This position works within the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy and assists with Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) program development and implementation. The position provides technical assistance to community partners with consultation from section manager. It monitors compliance and accuracy of data with reporting to support data driven decisions and manages the full grant cycle.
