Why the NFL should go purple for DV awareness this is an excellent opportunity to shine a national light on a subject that affects more people than cancer and car accidents combined. It is time for a predominately male-oriented groups to take a public stand against domestic violence. Any disease with the statistics of harm and death that domestic violence has would be treated as a national epidemic. We need to all stand up, stand together and end family violence.
