We are excited to issue a Snapshot of the WomensLaw Email Hotline in 2024, with highlights from the previous year, interesting statistics, and users’ quotes about what the help meant to them.

The REACH partnership between NNEDV’s WomensLaw and Esperanza United is all about expanding and enhancing the capacity of the bilingual WomensLaw Email Hotline, and this snapshot shows that in action.

Notably, in 2024, we helped 6,298 people in English and Spanish through the Email Hotline, which provides personalized legal information and support to abuse victims and survivors, advocates, friends, and family members. We’re particularly proud of the work of our bilingual staff attorneys and volunteers, who kept the Spanish Email Hotline open 100% of the time and responded to 42 more emails in Spanish.
