Safety Net’s 10th Annual Virtual Tech Summit
Safety Net’s 10th Annual Virtual Tech Summit was a three-day event hosted by NNEDV’s Safety Net Project, a leading voice at the intersection of technology and domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
The annual Tech Summit brings together critical and timely information to increase the knowledge and skills of those working with survivors to enhance our work responding to technology abuse, supporting survivors in their use of tech, and harnessing tech to improve services.
Content focused on an array of relevant and emerging issues at the intersection of technology, privacy, confidentiality, and innovation, as they related to safety and abuse. We explored some of the ways technology is still evolving, including in our own use as agencies, as well as other intersections of technology and intimate partner violence.
Our Virtual Tech Summit included eight webinars over the course of three days, all presented over the Zoom platform. Each session included Spanish interpretation, American Sign Language, and closed captioning.
