Virtual Technology Summit 2021

Virtual Technology Summit 2021 was a four-day event hosted by NNEDV’s Safety Net Project, a leading voice at the intersection of technology and domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

The annual Tech Summit brings together critical and timely information to increase the knowledge and skills of those working with survivors to enhance our work to respond to technology abuse, support survivors in their use of tech, and harness tech to improve services.

Content focused on an array of relevant and emerging issues at the intersection of technology, privacy, confidentiality, and innovation, as they relate to safety and abuse. We explored some of the ways technology is still evolving, including in our own use as agencies, as well as other intersections of technology and intimate partner violence. This included the digital divide, non-consensual image sharing, privacy during a public health crisis, and more.

Our Virtual Technology Summit 2021 included nine webinars over the course of four days, all presented over the Zoom platform. Each session included American Sign Language and closed captioning.

Registration is now closed. Please contact us with any questions.

Dates: Monday, July 19 – Thursday, July 22, 2021

Location: Virtual

Registration: Registration was $125 per person and included all webinars and access to recorded sessions and materials for one year via a password-protected site.
