NNEDV’s 6th Annual Economic Justice Summit

The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) hosted our 6th Annual Economic Justice Summit April 25-27, 2023, in Washington, DC.

As part of our ongoing work to highlight and address the intersection of domestic violence and economic security, this national, three-day Summit brought together advocates, state and territorial domestic violence coalitions, national experts, researchers, evaluators, and allies to discuss and share strategies to improve economic security for domestic violence survivors.

Summit Dates:

Tuesday, April 25 – Thursday, April 27, 2023

Summit Theme:

Weathering the Storm: Shaping Our Financial Forecast

This year’s EJ Summit focused on navigating an economic downturn that came as a result of loss of safety nets, climbing inflation, increasing housing costs, a public health crisis, etc. The Summit addressed what it means to access resources in the midst of limited protections. We focused on how to help survivors stay connected to resources, while creating and maintaining safety plans, and stay afloat during these tough economic times.

Summit Registration:

Registration is now closed. Registration was $200 per attendee.
