Description:
SUMMARY: End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin is seeking an experienced professional for a full-time, exempt Grants and Contracts Manager position. This position will be responsible for grants compliance, administration and reporting for more than 20 funding streams, as well as managing contracts with sub-grantees. We are looking for an experienced grants administrator with familiarity with government and private funders. The Grants and Contracts Manager must have the ability to work under deadlines, in a team environment, with minimal supervision and with diverse populations. The Grants and Contracts Manager works in consultation with the Programmatic Leads and Points of Contact for each grant to ensure reporting and application quality and accuracy. The Grants and Contracts Manager must respond to changing needs and priorities, while taking creative approaches to support End Abuse’s work through effective grants procurement and management.

This role requires leadership in the development and maintenance of systems and processes that keep the organization running smoothly. It requires the ability to think beyond the day-to-day, and to propose solutions that will allow End Abuse to continuously improve services to members. It also provides the opportunity to enhance our management of multiple grants across numerous funding streams. This position is uniquely positioned to support the critical functions of the organization. Extensive software skills, as well as confidentiality and attention to detail are required in this role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prevention Grant Management
• Work in consultation with the Prevention Team to support program deliverables and ensure expenditure of funds is compliant with grant contract terms.
• Meet with sub-grantees on grant deliverables and changes to the terms of contracts with sub-grantees or contractors.
• In collaboration with the Director of Prevention and Outreach, review sub-grantee budgets and draft sub-contract terms.
• Review all sub-contracts and manage the finalization of all sub-contracts.
• Manage monitoring activities for prevention grant sub-contracts, provide follow-up documentation, and keep detailed records and files in compliance with grant and audit requirements.
• Track sub-grantee spending throughout the grant contract period, request budget modifications when necessary, and review requested budget modifications.
• Provide technical assistance to sub-grantees related to budgeting, contract requirements, and other topics related to the successful administration of their sub-contract.
• Schedule and hold meetings, or participate in site visits, with sub-grantees, as necessary.
General Grant Management
• Write and facilitate the completion of grant reports across the agency, with a focus on grants that cover the whole organization.
• Maintain a shared grant application and reporting calendar to ensure timely grant reporting.
• Review all new funding opportunities and vet for organizational capacity and relevance.
• Lead the grant application process for all grant opportunities that support the whole organization.
• Work in consultation with the Executive Director, Director of Coalition Programs, and other Directors to plan for upcoming grant applications and identify new opportunities.
• Respond to staff questions related to grant compliance and allocations.
Asha Project Grant Management
• Support the Asha Project by maintaining all grant reports, applications, and compliance-related documentation.
• In consultation with Asha’s Associate Director, complete and submit regular grant reports.
• In consultation with Asha’s Director, complete and submit funding applications, and review any new funding opportunities.
• Participate in grant deliverables and/or planning meetings as necessary to ensure grant compliance and effective implementation of the grant program.
Grant Compliance and Financial Management
• Review and monitor grant contracts and deliverables to ensure the organization stays in compliance.
• Communicate compliance updates or changes, and provide guidance to staff.
• Track grant program spending and alert managers when grants are underspent or when certain deliverables need to be completed before the end of a grant term.
• Review any grant sub-contracts to ensure compliance and organizational capacity.
• Maintain required organizational System for Award Management annual registration and other registrations or documentation as needed.
• File grant adjustment requests as needed.
Osnium Database Administration
• Review and manage data collection in the Osnium for Coalitions database to meet changes in funders’ grant reporting requirements, in collaboration with the Technology Manager.
• Review and manage data collection in the Osnium for Client & Case Management Software (Asha Project Only) to meet funder requirements, in cooperation with the Technology Manager.
Other Responsibilities
• Attend programmatic meetings to stay up to date on current trends and the needs of the organization to ensure these needs are reflected in grant applications and reporting to funders.
• Assist the RISE Law Center and NCALL with their grant management needs, as requested, or needed.
• Assist the Finance and Administration Team with the annual audit and other areas as needed.

Benefits:
This is an exempt position. The starting salary for this position is $55,000 a year.
