Why the NFL should go purple for DV Awareness the NFL is an organization that touches the lives of many men, women, and children. Domestic violence does the same but is often ignored, pushed aside and hidden despite being a huge public health and human rights issue. If an organization of power, such as the NFL could raise awareness about domestic violence, an issue that so clearly and personally affects the men who participate in the NFL, things may change at a faster pace! We need advocates and leaders in this area. Support domestic violence awareness!
