Thank you for your interest in an internship with NNEDV! We are a social change organization that is dedicated to creating a social, political, and economic environment in which violence against women no longer exists.

Interns support our efforts to address the complex causes and far-reaching consequences of domestic violence through our signature projects. NNEDV interns gain real-world experience, learn about the nuts-and-bolts of running a nonprofit (including organizational development, fundraising, communications, budget and financial capacity, and more), and participate in NNEDV’s efforts to ensure that the needs and voices of survivors are heard on Capitol Hill (including through lobbying, grassroots advocacy, social media campaigns, and more).

An internship with NNEDV provides applicants with the opportunity to expand their marketable skill-set while engaging in meaningful work to support an organization that aligns with their ideals. We have a fast-paced but casual office near Dupont Circle, and welcome applications from a variety of majors.

Deadlines

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Salary

NNEDV offers volunteer, unpaid internships (both full- and part-time) during the spring, summer, and fall. College credit can be arranged.
