Donate Your Phone
Wireless phones and technologies offer a lifeline for domestic violence victims in an emergency.
That's why NNEDV has partnered with the Wireless Foundation's CALL TO PROTECT ShelterHelp program and Verizon Wireless' HopeLine, which collect wireless phones to benefits victims of domestic violence.
Donated phones are recycled, with proceeds going to help fund agencies that fight domestic violence. Other phones are refurbished and become lifelines for domestic violence victims when faced with an emergency situation. Since 1999, campaigns organized by the wireless industry, such as the CALL TO PROTECT and HopeLine programs, have collected more than 4 million retired phones, delivered more than 60,000 wireless lifelines to survivors of domestic violence, and made cash grants to domestic violence organizations exceeding $10 million.
