Transitional Housing Coordinator

Eric Drain is the Transitional Housing Coordinator for the NNEDV. Eric joined NNEDV in January 2014 making him one of the newest additions to the organization. Prior to his work at NNEDV, Eric was the Training Coordinator for a Chicago-based national training and technical assistance provider that championed work in domestic violence, trauma, substance abuse, and mental health. He has spent most of his career in early childhood education as a Professional Development Specialist focusing on training and accreditation for child care professionals.  Eric, a survivor of domestic violence, studied Women’s Studies at Michigan State University. He has been an advocate for survivors and federal recognition of domestic violence.
