Project & Conference Coordinator

Kaofeng is the Project & Conference Coordinator for Safety Net: the National Safe & Strategic Technology Project. In addition to managing the Safety Net Project’s conferences, trainings, and events, Kaofeng regularly works with survivors and advocates, providing support and resources. Through technical assistance and policy advocacy, she addresses all forms of technology that impact survivors of stalking, sexual violence, and domestic violence. Before joining NNEDV, Kaofeng worked as a bilingual advocate with the Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project and Break the Cycle in Washington, DC. In the summer of 2005, she worked with abused children in Thailand. Previous work experience includes 8 years as an editor, writer, and project coordinator for various organizations. Kaofeng has a Masters in International Relations, focusing on human rights and violence against women, from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication from Iowa State University.
